IKOPLASΤ S.A. was founded in 1992 by Georgios Oikonomou.
As a family business and with his children’s support, he started the production of plastic pails for the packaging of paints.

History & vision
In 1992, a new business idea was implemented by the founder of IKOPLAST SA, Mr. George Oikonomou. As a family business and with his children’s support, he started the production of plastic pails for the packaging of paints. Initially the products’ variety was limited and just a few machineries available. Gradually, the clients’ positive response and the strong positioning of the company in the market, led to machineries investment. Today, a level has been reached where a wide production flexibility is feasible and a wide variety of products for both chemicals and food packaging are available. Investments are the embraced challenge for the company’s second generation and the future vision for the generations to come.
