History & vision
In 1992, a new professional venture was brought to life by Georgios Oikonomou, the founder of IKOPLAST S.A. With his children by his side, production of plastic paint packaging containers began. Initially, the product codes were few and the injection moulding machines were simply the necessary ones. Gradually, however, positive customer response and the company's established market presence led to investments in mechanical equipment, resulting in today’s wide variety of products for both chemicals and food, as well as unlimited flexibility in their production. Investments are a permanent challenge for the second generation of the company and a future vision for the generations that follow.
